Our estimator draws on real job data from verified local professionals and homeowner-reported costs in the Waco-Temple-Killeen area. When you describe a repair or upload a photo, our AI matches your situation against completed jobs with similar characteristics -- trade, scope, complexity, and location.

The result is a price range that reflects what Central Texas homeowners have actually paid for comparable work. When we have strong data for a particular repair type, you will see a tighter range. When data is limited, we label the estimate accordingly and provide a broader range.

An estimate from this tool is not a quote, bid, or contract. It is an informational range based on historical data. Actual costs for your specific job may differ for several reasons:

• Site conditions may require additional work once a pro inspects the area.
• Material prices fluctuate and may differ from the time our data was collected.
• Pricing can vary by season, with higher demand periods affecting availability and cost.
• Every home is different, and hidden issues (such as water damage behind drywall) can change the scope.

1. Partner job records -- Completed jobs from our verified local pros, with all personally identifiable information removed. This is our strongest data source.
2. Homeowner-reported costs-- Receipts and cost reports submitted by homeowners through our "Share Your Cost" feature, verified where possible.
3. General ranges -- When local data is limited for a particular repair type, we supplement with broader regional data. These estimates are clearly labeled so you know the confidence level.

Photos and descriptions you submit are processed solely for the purpose of generating your estimate. We do not store your photos or descriptions unless you choose to share your cost data with the community.
